Nicole Hood Design

I help busy people create homes they love.

Whether it’s a total refurbishment, or just one or two rooms that need updating. I can offer ideas for layout design and decoration, help with planning procedures and dealing with builders, and sourcing furniture and materials.

I can co-ordinate a project from start to finish, or just help with one or two stages.

My experience helps clients to save money by knowing where to source, and by getting it right first time. And my fees are reasonable because I have low overheads.

Please get in touch if you need help with your project.

About Nicole Hood:

After studying printed textiles and printmaking at Camberwell School of Art, I set up my own business, printing and selling fabrics for fashion and furnishing, and making ceramics.

I then moved into branding design working for some of Londons most renowned design agencies including Wolff Olins and Pentagram Design, and for product design companies Priestman Goode and Sebastian Conran Associates. I gradually progressed into managing and marketing roles, which gave me good experience in the business side of design.

My passion for pattern, colour and texture has always remained and after renovating a 15th century house in Somerset, I became an independent interior designer, where I could combine my creative side with my business experience.
